A note from us
Hesham and Mona, together with Sameh and Laila, invite you to the marriage of their children.
We found the house by accident, on a road we were not supposed to be on. We have been coming back for three years.
The gate will be open at seven.

How we got here
April 2023
A wrong turn, kept
Youssef missed the exit. Nour did not tell him for another twenty minutes, because the road was better than the one they had meant to take.
2023 — 2026
The same garden, every spring
Three Aprils in the same corner of the same garden, and a running disagreement about whether the roses are better before or after they open.
February 2026
Asked at the gate
He had planned it for the fountain. He got as far as the gate.
