A note from us
Tamer and Ghada, together with Ihab and Yasmin, invite you to the marriage of their children.
We are asking you to arrive while it is still light, and to stay until it is not.
That is the whole plan.

How we got here
August 2021
A power cut
The building lost power for six hours. They met on the stairs with a candle each and did not go back up.
2022 — 2025
Thursdays, on the roof
Every Thursday, the same roof, an increasingly elaborate arrangement of borrowed lamps.
January 2026
The last one lit
He lit them one at a time along the wall and asked at the end of the row.
